Second Purpose Furniture is about more than finding new homes for old furniture. This page shows the work I’ve completed so far, the time I’ve put into restoring and preparing each piece, and how the money raised has helped support Cham Shan Temple, where I volunteer.
The work so far
So far, I’ve worked on 14 pieces, including nine in the Collection and five that have been sold. The work has involved everything from cleaning and minor repairs to more extensive restoration.
Hours are allocated estimates based on a target of 2.5 hours a week over 52 weeks, not verified time records.
